Hit by financial crisis or not, our company has been notorious in giving late salaries. It started with 2 days, then 3, 5 and now it became 16 days!
What’s sad is we suffer the bank penalties. If our salary is not transfered before the cut off, it will automatically give us endless charges for the credit cards and for the loans. Its really a headache.
It was only yesterday when we got our February salary. During the two-week period of waiting, I craved for lots of things like ice cream, steak, pasta, pizza- name it! I felt so deprived. Although I had a few bucks from my rakets and I’ve eaten out a few times, still the feeling of wanting won’t go away.
Anyway, after we got our salary, I thought of pampering myself with the things and food that I wanted to have but as usual all the cravings ceased 
I could even forget about lunch and dinner. Its funny how our mind responds to money matters. When I didnt have money, I am dying to buy a new blouse and shoes but now that I can go and buy it, I felt that I can actually live without it. I think my answer to being a shopaholic is proscastination. Believe me, it works!
well, our company also suffers during this crisis. though our salary is still on time, the management is now doing some cost cutting – like in my case, they told me that they cannot afford to continue paying the rent of our flat so they would move us into another villa but along with another 3 families. for me this is ‘not’ acceptable – living my family together with other families in one house, so i decided to let them go back and stay in the philippines.

tsk, tsk..that’s really sad kuya…we’ll just cross our fingers that this crisis will not affect us further. im exploring other opportunities…baka may alam ka hehehe!
